Clément is a student of Lille, in the north of France. For fourteen years, he has lived in a small town near Marseilles (in the south of France), it was not until September 2007 that he revisited his birthplace, "din ch'Nord" (in the North), as they say. An Internet illuminatus for the past ten years, he's been the part-time moderator of a few small websites before he became moderator for a game website sustaining 1,000 members. He is also a top-notch boffin with computers, and hopes to obtain a B.Sc. in order to become a Software Developer.
He is equally addicted to music (ambient rock in particular, but he also likes experimental music) and composes his own pieces with the help of an acoustic guitar, a microphone, and his computer, however nothing absolute has come of this yet.
In his spare time, he occupies himself with many and varied hobbies: abstract art, photography, walking, reductive analysis of thematic texts, reading (mainly Science Fiction). He also sometimes amuses himself by accruing further knowledge of physics, especially the Acoustic Sciences, of which he's very fond.
He believes firmly that the use of shorthand "SMS speak" detracts from the beauty of the French language. As a channel operator on #CrystalIRC, he sincerely hopes you enjoy shooting the breeze here!

He comes from Lyons and has worked on several IRC networks since 2000.
He comes from having finished his studies, with his specialty being Information Technology, and he is acutally a system administrator and network admin in the Paris area. Since he began programming, he has learned many languages, such as mIRCscript, Perl 5, PHP, Java, Matlab, Maple, et cetera. He is a developer of several scripts for mIRC, and set up services for the commercial IRC network “Entrechat”. He is there acquiring invaluable experience in organisation, and he brings this experience to CrystalIRC, that the network may prosper and be a happy and enjoyable place for all. Now, he is a regular on CrystalIRC, responsible for help, so feel free to ask him anything! Note: He won't marry you or father your children, so maybe don't ask that.
Outside of IRC, he regularly goes to the movies and has practiced for the ATV Trials (extreme mountain-biking) for ten years, despite having been out of the competetion for 4 years to take a break. People need the freedom to share their thoughts and hobbies, and this is why he likes IRC.
He is equally enamoured with books both from the sci-fi and heroic fantasy genres, and if you know any friendly author types, he'd be over the moon to share them. Also, he loves Science Fiction films and RPGs of all kinds!
He is a fan of Damasio, Tolkien, Zelazny, and many more, and is always discovering, but for now he will see you later!

Horst is a musician, singer, photographer, and one who enjoys the finer things.
He brings to the CrystalIRC network a decade of experience in Information Technology, five years of experience as an IRCOp on various networks, and two years of learning to appear sympathetic.
He is the webmaster of CrystalIRC and keeps CrystalIRC's website beautiful. Horst is involved in the performing arts, frequently participating in amateur concerts, primarily covering classic-rock music. He also likes silent cinefilms, and photographing beauties.
His qualities include patience, merciful power, knowledge, and the tendency to “shoot first, ask questions later”.
Horst's photography consists of architecture, people, live, nudity, but most of all, the world around him. His body of work can be found here. Horst is completely insane, and has the paperwork to prove it.
He loves: His girlfriend, Georgia.

Julien is a man of rather odd and diverse hobbies, including: music, foreign languages, software development, and server-side system administration. After seven years studying English and Russian (a Masters Degree in Translation), he took up Informatics, after realising that since his childhood, nothing had fascinated him more than his encounters with Amstrad computers. His new knowledge in I.T. equipped him well for an unfamiliar branch of computing: Server Administration.
In his spare time, he acts as the site administrator for: Society of the Rose (a large-scale Role-Playing association (not-for-profit, 501c), “Attitude 49” (a graphic art foundry), “Nextgen Emulation” (a site devoted to the emulation of esoteric console games on many computer platforms) - the site of Outworld1, his friend and colleague from Team Gx-Mod. His being with the team rekindled his fascination with IRC and the advantages it offers.
Today, he is a developer of software in C,C++,and C# in a finance company, so that he can afford to spend his downtime drumming for the French Metal group Parad1gm (pronounced “Paradigm One” or /?pær.?.da?m 'w?n/), formerly known as “Spirited”.
